Lucida Energy was founded to play a role in the greatest energy shift of a generation. Canada needs a staggering amount of new electricity generation capacity to be built over the next decade in order to support the accelerating electrification of transportation. Not only will we require net new generation, but additionally there are pollution intensive power plants still in use that need to be replaced with sustainable ones.
Lucida Energy brings together the expertise to identify sites, design the site plans, engage with the community, raise capital and commission the construction of wind and solar power installations. We focus on sites in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland because of the very attractive resource that is available.
